Amy Trauger

Amy Trauger is a Professor of Geography at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, GA. She’s conducted research on food systems, sustainability, and food sovereignty in Europe, the Caribbean, South Asia, and the United States. She was a Fulbright Scholar and Canada Research Chair in Food Security at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada in 2022. She is the author of We Want Land to Live! published by the University of Georgia Press in 2017 and has published four other books. Her trade debut, Nourished, is forthcoming in 2027 with Harper One, an imprint of Harper Collins.
